Green Assembly

Join UCF’s monthly Green Assembly meetings, hosted by Student Government’s Sustainability & Innovation Coordinator in collaboration with Arboretum & Sustainability Initiatives, to discuss how UCF can be more environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable! We encourage student leaders to attend so they can raise issues that they’re passionate about and make their voices heard.

Past Green Assemblies have centered on:

  • Charlie Pioli from O-Town Compost
  • GEEO and their work to create a Central Florida dashboard for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • The SDGs and how they apply to us
  • Upcycling t-shirts into gift bags
  • Green Jobs Panel
