Biography

Dr. Patrick Bohlen is Professor of Biology at the University of Central Florida.  He received his PhD in entomology from Ohio State University in 1994 where he studied soil and ecosystem ecology. He was a research biologist at Archbold Biological Station in Lake Placid, Florida for 11 years prior to coming to UCF in 2010.  From 2010-2022 he was director of the the UCF Arboretum and the Landscape and Natural Resources Department. He currently serves as the faculty liaison to the Arboretum and he oversees the Bee Campus USA and Pollinator Garden team.
