UCF Arboretum

People » Brighton Hall

Brighton Hall transferred to UCF in Fall of 2011 after receiving his AA from Valencia Community College. He is a Biology major and will graduate in Fall of 2013. Brighton harbors a life-long interest in forests and their ecology, so when he heard about the Arboretum through his Federal Work-study program, he jumped on the chance to get some real hands-on experience working with trees and plants. Brighton is currently in charge of the Arboretum fruits orchard, and plans on using a largely holistic and biological approach to create a grove that is not only bio-diverse  but incorporates many of Florida's native flora.
